Juliette Bigley

Bigley makes abstract metal sculptures based on composite geometric forms that explore how our internal experiences interact with the world. Made to contribute to her thinking her pieces are ‘punctuation marks’ in an on-going dialogue between thinking, writing and making. Trained at The Cass School of Art, she has exhibited nationally and internationally including Ireland, USA, Switzerland, Dubai and Germany. She won Collect Open in 2018, has received funding from Arts Council England, and has work in the V&A and the Irish State collections. She is a member of the Royal Society of Sculptors, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and produced her first publication, Material Perspectives, in 2018.
